Generation chess tournament in Chrast February 15, 2011

12th February 2011 there were a generation chess tournament. Played couples – adult + child. Children often check their adult partners and advised them what to do. It was very interesting tournament. Here are photos and names of winners.

Yesterday, there was our school tournament by teams.

Team 1: Estelle, Quentin, Guillaume, Dylan, Hugo, Théo, Eloïse, Simon and Yoann.

Team 2: Mélissa, Chloé, Florent, Aurélien, Manfred, Paul, Thomas, Noé and Alexandre.

The two teams are qualified for the next step on the 23th of March in Liffré.

Only pupils of our class: Quentin, Thomas, Paul and Dylan.

Parents Tournament January 4, 2011

On December 23 the Parents Tournament was held at our school. We had less participants than expected so we must do our best to make chess more common in our hometown. The winner is Yalçın Özdemir and here are some pictures of the tournament.





Schools’ tournament (step 1) December 20, 2010

Last Wednesday afternoon, the 15th of December, 6  pupils of our class took part in the chess schools’ tournament. There were 126 players from 6 to 14 years old. There were 5 games.

All the pupils of our class  prepared the room on the morning: 63 chessboards with pieces, 63 clocks, a computer for the referre, descriptive boards etc.

On January, there will be the school tournament by teams. There will be 6 teams. 1 team = 8 players + 2 substitutes. There will be 5 pupils of our class in our 2 teams: Collège MLK1 and Collège MLK2. Good luck!

27th November there were a chess tournament named CHESS KING in our school. The winner is Jan Žídek. He was a winner last year, too. This tournament has 9 round.
